Today, Carroll County is a thriving community, filled with excitement and recreation. Although it is a quiet and peaceful setting, the county is a convenient distance from the culture, entertainment, and sports of larger cities such as Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Carroll is also the summer home for the Baltimore Ravens whose summer training camp is at McDaniel College in Westminster, and the Baltimore Orioles and Oriole Park at CamdenYards are only a short distance away. |
