College/Post Secondary Planning
One of the core goals of school counseling is to assist students with post secondary planning. Post secondary planning starts with career education in elementary school, and continues through high school with the development of the educational career plan. Students begin to develop this plan in the eighth grade. It is important for students and their parents to have resources and be familiar with all options.
